When bending galvanized sheet metal, stainless steel, or aluminium, galling can be a significant issue. It causes marks on the sheet metal, inaccurate bends, and products getting stuck in the V-opening of the bottom tool. While intensive and frequent cleaning can help, it is a costly extra step and may lead to tool wear. EnduraBend coated tooling offers a real and proven solution.

EnduraBend is a versatile and durable tool coating designed to minimize galling during bending, especially in challenging situations where galvanized sheet metal, aluminium or stainless steel are processed. OZU-ZN coating

Are you only bending galvanized sheet metal? Then check out our OZU-ZN coating. Contrary to EnduraBend, WILA OZU-ZN coating is specifically designed to prevent the build-up of zinc deposits on tooling. OZU-ZN coating may be less versatile than EnduraBend but is a more cost-effective way to prevent galling.
