WILA BendSense Technology

BendSense Technology is an advanced sensor system integrated into WILA Tool Holders. It provides critical information to press brake and cell control software, including tool identification to ensure the correct tool is being used, tool position monitoring for exact positioning and orientation, unidentified object detection to identify any unwanted objects inside the Tool Holder, and tool geometry data that provides detailed information on the tool’s shape and dimensions.

WILA Basecamp

WILA Basecamp is a data hub, consisting of an Application Programming Interface (API) and DIN controller, that lets you retrieve real-time tool information, including exact position and orientation, shape and dimensions. It also provides the position and length of unidentified objects. In case of Automatic Tool Change, the exact gripping point for each individual WILA ATC tool is provided. For optimal process control, WILA Basecamp provides process data reporting.
